Terms of service

The agreement

These terms form an agreement between Firesio and the merchant that installs Repair & Service Ops. Installing the app accepts them.

What the app does

Repair & Service Ops is a Shopify app for repair and service businesses. It records repair tickets, tracks each item's progress, links deposits and balances to Shopify orders, and sends status updates to customers. Each merchant decides how the app is set up in its own shop.

Eligibility

To use this App, you must have an active Shopify store and be at least 18 years old. The App is intended for business use only.

Account and Installation

When you install the App:

• You grant us permission to access your Shopify store data necessary for the App to function
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information when configuring the App

Fees and billing

The app has a free plan and paid plans, priced in US dollars per month or per year, and shown on the pricing page. Shopify bills every paid plan. Plans are changed from the Billing page in the app.

Acceptable use

Do not use the app to send unsolicited messages, to store personal information you have no right to hold, to break the law, or to interfere with the service or with other shops.

Email Communications

The App sends transactional emails to your customers. You acknowledge that:

• Emails are sent only to customers who have submitted service tickets
• You are responsible for ensuring customers have appropriate consent to receive communications
• You must honor opt-out requests promptly
• You are responsible for the content of emails sent through the App

Availability and support

We work to keep the app available. It is provided without a guaranteed uptime level unless a written agreement says otherwise. Support is available by email at the address below.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. Email deliverability depends on various factors outside our control, including recipient email providers.

Liability and warranties

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

Termination

You can uninstall the app at any time from your Shopify admin. We can suspend access for a serious breach of these terms. After an uninstall, the shop's data is deleted as the privacy policy describes.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Any dispute arising from them is heard by the competent courts of Vietnam.
